My matrimony profile

One profile per account, for yourself or for the son or daughter you are looking for. It is read by other members in the form the matches page shows, and only after an admin has checked it.

This page is not like the rest of Udaya.

What you put in a profile is kept on the site's server, not on this device: the name you choose, the birth details, the height, the education, the profession, the town and the two paragraphs you write. Once an admin has verified it, every signed-in member can read it. Until then only you can. You can hide it or delete it at any time.

A profile carries no phone number and no email address — the server keeps no field for either, on purpose. Reaching somebody is a separate act they have to agree to: you ask for an introduction, and only once they accept it can either of you write. Nobody is shown another member's date, time or place of birth: the birth details are there for the horoscope, the server does not send them to anyone but the profile's owner, and the age is what a profile prints. The community's matrimony profiles are shown to signed-in members only. This is the server's own rule, not a setting on this page: there is no reading of any profile without an account, by anyone, ever — which is also why none of these pages is in the sitemap and no search engine holds one.

Nothing has been loaded from the server on this visit. The rest of Udaya needs no account at all: the panchangam, the jathagam and the porutham pages all run on this device, and Proposals keeps the jathagams a family is already weighing without any of this leaving your browser.
