How these work
A panchangam's day runs from sunrise to the next sunrise rather than from midnight, which is why a time after midnight still belongs to yesterday's day here. Every window is worked out for the place you set, not for a national average, because sunrise in Coimbatore is not sunrise in Kolkata and the eighths of the day are cut from it.
Everything here is computed on your own device from the birth details you type. Nothing is sent anywhere, and no account is needed for any of it. How the calculations work sets out the arithmetic, and the ayanamsa and the reckoning are yours to choose, because households differ and the app should not pretend otherwise.
