Age and dates Exact age on any day, the gap between two people, and what a Gregorian date is in the Tamil and lunar calendars. Counted on this device, in whole days, with no clock and no time zone to go wrong.
Enter the date of birth. School admission and pension forms want the age on a cut-off date, so the second box is the day the age is counted to, not necessarily today.
Everything on this page is counted in whole calendar days. Nothing reads the clock or a time zone, which is how an age calculator comes to be a day out for somebody born in the week a clock changes. A month that has no such day — 31 January plus a month — lands on the last day of the month it reaches.
